Mega Bomberman (Genesis) is the Bomberman'94 port of PC Engine/TG16 !!! And the PC Engine version is infinitely superior !! Bomberman'94 should have been the right choice to be in the ranking.

My favorite game was Neo Bomberman
I love all those and have all except 93 and Bomberman 64:second attack. Also some cool ones not mentioned, Bomberman Fantasy Race (PS1) although a racing game, Bomberman Fight! (Sega Saturn japan only, plays fine if you mod/have action replay cartridge), and Bomberman Max Red OR Blue (Gameboy colors, then redone on GBA). Plus the newest gen console one Bomberman R isnt that bad either as people say.

Why none of the developers of computer games came up with the idea to make a good online game about bomberman ? Imagine a new game where you need to play 4×4 or 3×3, 2×2 or each for yourself, good modern engine, a huge number of different weapons, many different maps, deserts, snow map, night map. I really look forward to when good studios will develop a new bomberman. And if it will be difficult to kill enemies on the cleared map, then make the regime like in a royal battle, so that in bomberman the map shrinks over time. In short, the same bomberman is only greatly improved.
my favorites are Jetters and Generation.
I don't think multiplayer makes a game deserve the top spot,
but I'd also love to play any bomberman game and with anyone really
